I guess ruining somebody's life over a 30 rack of beer at a dorm party makes sense to you. What do you think about Spader getting life? Maybe probabtion or a suspended sentence?

I am not trying to be insulting....
What is the NFHS punishment for "taunting"?
Wouldn't this be AT LEAST equivalent?
Remember, HS rules treat the sport as an "extension of the classroom."
Moreover, HS rules make no distinction about fouls being committed against players on the other team. In NFHS, you can even commit "dangerous play" against a teammate.
I haven't read the whole thread, but certainly this sort of behaviour merits game suspensions. You must agree, right?

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI am not a Needham parent, but somewhere back in the 50 pages of posts I saw the actual injunction, probably by a link. It was written Todd White vs Principal Pizzi or whatever his real name is.
This globe article uses quotes from the petition for the injunction:
http://www.boston.com/yourtown/needh...lleged_hazing/
The quotes strongly suggest that more than one parent joined in the petition for the injunction. Yes, it was one lawyer-parent who filed the petition, but until someone can post (or-repost) the petition for the injunction, all we have what the Globe has published.
Even if only one parent wanted the injunction, the article quotes e-mails from several other parents who wanted the school to change the punishment.

Even if the school gives the idiot his job back, the dude should be banned by NFHS.

This whole situation appears to have morphed a lot in the last day or so. The parents and lawyers appear to have taken over and I hope the kids still have a voice as the path being headed down could well lead to their prolonged media exposure and adverse effects on college etc and that would be too bad. Are the kids dead set against accepting their punishment or is it the parents? The other layer on this is the impact on some of the parents/coach and their colleagues that have a stake in camps. sports facility, coaching etc that could take a hit here and I hope the kids don't get dragged along for the wrong reasons.
