What is clear is that those kids that do not appear on the list like to list "politics" or "payments" as the reason others are on it. Kids are watched and/or recommended by respected coaches. That's how they get added. No one is suggesting that it's a definitive list, but it's based on the input of people who are in position to offer unbiased and respected opinions.
You sure? Why can anyone sign up a player then? Have you seen the list? While they are certainly good players on the list for Boys 2012-2014. Some of these kids are not too respected by their coaches or teamates.

You sign up on the web site to access information.

You can recommend a player, but that doesn't sign him up.

That's fine....at this point most of those not reporting at this point fall into one of two categories -- 1) you're not someone anyone would be thinking about committing anywhere anyway so no one will notice your absence; OR 2) you fall in a group of players we would expect some type of commitment from, at least D3, and your failure to post (and making a deal out of it either way) shows just how self-important and exclusive you've always been. The latter group considers their every move of great and singular importance and the "protection" of the decision fits right in with the same ultra-elitist song and dance these families have been playing for years.

OR...they don't care what you or other people think. Their fans will be at their school.

You are right about one thing. There no doubt is a very, very high correlation between those who have crafted their kids' paths with surgical and absolute me-first precision and not caring about anyone else or about what anyone else thinks.

As for his "fans" being at his school, you sound optimistic. Will there be enough bleachers?

Or, the fact that you reply with this type of post reinforces the reason why NOT to post anything here. I'm guessing a DAP parent who is constantly comparing the choices of DAP players vs non-DAP players. Let me break it down for you. The DAP teams placed more D1 players, but as for the amount of playing time next year, we'll have to wait and see. The number of nonDAP players is much greater at the D2 and D3 level, which is just fine. But, if YOU have visions pf watching a Revs reserve game or a EPL game and seeing the family name on a shirt..it aint gonna happen. sorry
