Read in some threads that Assumption does not give scholarships. New coach, things must have changed. Not a wheelbarrow of cash but packaged with a good academic scholarship it got us to a umass cost.

good program/school? might want to rethink that...

You are wrong about the dishonesty, because a couple of stats were dug up to intentionally create and stir up a distorted negative impression of the school, with implied inferences from the stats to a conclusion about quality of the school. There are many, many people who think the school is indeed a good one.

With a 30 year career in the computer industry I had three people out of say 50 that worked for me who stand out because of their poor performance. No amount of hand holding through projects helped. They were graduates of BC, Holy Cross and WPI, I was educated at Worcester State College. My son played in D2 Maple and has played with and against two players frequently during his youth and high school soccer programs. These players Stars of Ma and Seacoast trained, paying big money for promises of D1. One desperately looking for a D3 soccer program to take him after D1 and D2 said no. The other going post grad to buy time to attempt D1 again. My son had 4 D2 NE 10 schools recruiting him. He made the best academic decision he could, the soccer program not near the best he could have chosen in the NE 10. Would have loved it if he could have gone to BC, yes for the academics - BC soccer not possible. So what is the point - I do not have one - except to say I am sure I got less enjoyment from writing this post than you did writing your negative post which must stroke some deficiency in your character or your just a mean sob - just realizing this blog site is not a productive use of my time
