Bump. Now I'll do the same anaysis as the 2010 boys as requested.

    Comment

Of the 2011 boys, I'll start with 12 D1 players.

8 are still on the roster.
Of those 8, 7 are playing this year.
A smaller starting #, but similar ratios to other years.
      Playing are MG,CD,TB,CB,MK,JK, and CB.
Not bad again, and GL to all.

The 2011 HS boys college listing –Who played in Fall 2012 D3
For those who want to play in college—there are many playing in D3—only updated previous list from last year—there are many more Mass players playing D3, D2 and still a handful playing D1 from HS Class of 2011.

^^^^^List above does give a good idea, both in terms of numbers and types of D3 schools. Many of the schools are obviously weaker either in terms of soccer or academic quality or both, so depending on how you look at it the numbers may not be as impressive as at first glance. Also, the numbers for Fall 2011 are in at least some cases shorted because the list was posted before the end of the 2011 season.

For me, the bottom line message is that very good players who are committed with a good academic standing can have meaningful college soccer careers at some very good to superb D3 schools, but perhaps not nearly as many as people would think, and the numbers for D1 are of course even smaller.

Maybe you could put together a recap of what these boys are studying, their GPA, any academic awards, study abroad opportunities, internships they are in, and also some comments from their coach and academic advisor as to how their doing in their careers.

Otherwise, this is a single single dimensional listing requires nothing more than a keyboard and an Internet connection.

Every one of those young boys are likely becoming well rounded adults and gaining a variety of experiences. They have long since outgrown the imnature and petty obsessions of the adults that inhabit this toxic forum.

Until the people in this forum get away from evaluating players, teams, and success on playing time and wins, then you will be doomed to stew in your own flatulance.

It takes a fart to know a fart....

Quit taking yourself so seriously. Its entertaining to see all this stuff. I'm curious to know how the DI players are doing?

Yes, many of these young men are likely doing well in multiple "dimensions".

And sorry things didn't work out for you as you had planned.

There must be something else on your mind because your post had almost no connection to any of the recent, previous posts.

Yep, but I'm sure he'll come back strong. I might rank him 2nd or 3rd of all Mass players in the past 5 years....right behind K Mewis and maybe S Mewis. With Scott Caldwell very close behind.

Sorry things didn't work out? What could you possibly be referring to? Certainly you can be slightly more intelligent than posting that piece of brilliance?

The only thing on my mind is the importance too many people here place on wins, records, and play time as the measure of success.

My hope for all these student athletes is that they grow up free from the burdens of over indulgent parenting, over inflated feelings of self importance, Internet bullying, and general lack of class and character that their parents exhibit on this forum.
