Week 6 predictions
Looks like a pretty predictable week with one exception, can SSS u10 stay with a scorpions team struggling to score?
My guess is no. Scorpions put up a couple early and play keep away to win 2-0 over a scrappy SSS team
Stars D with essentially another bye. No disrespect to Crusaders but they could easily lose by double figures if Stars press the issue. I say they put the brakes on at 6 and win 6-0
NH classics too big for PASA and will physically wear them down. Not as close as score would indicate. NH classics win 3-1
Big motivation for NEFC to beat a team that are clearly better than. Ties against SSS and Crusaders, two teams they should've beaten should serve as an example that talent alone doesn't always prevail. NEFC needs to beat Stars handily this week to stay on it's post scorpion roll. I say they get the job done with a little extra 5-1 over Last place Stars
Recap
Scorps 2 SSS 0
Stars D 6 Crusaders 0
NH Classics 3 PASA 1
NEFC 5 Stars 1

This team did tie the top Stars team last Fall 2-2 in the Orange division. They did lose their goalie, but added some pretty good players on both offense and defense.

I in no way think they are a contender, but they will get better from the experience which is what I am looking for my daughter. To be frank I could care less if they win or lose, but the opportunity is what is important to me because it means my daughter will get to play against some better teams and players which only is a positive experience for her.
2nd place green will play Purple
Looks like Scorps West will play 3rd place team from Green division for play down
Maybe Benifica, NEFC G either game will be a good test for them.
Congrats on a strong Spring Season

ANDRE CUP for U11 Girls:
TWO teams who qualified for the Blue section are currently playing in U12.
They will be seeded with the U11 Blue section. NEFC BB team, SSS Team
The top 6 teams from the Blue Section, plus (2) teams playing up at u12 and the top team from the Green Section for a total of 9 teams.
7th Blue (NEFC BB) vs. Yellow winner
8th Blue (SSS) vs. White winner
2nd Green vs Red Winner
3rd Green vs. Purple
4th Green vs Orange
5th Green vs. Navy
6th Green vs 7th Green
=================================
NOTE need 8 team if NEFC BB does not enter my guess is it will be as usual 2nd place in green shifting every Division winner down one. See below
=================================
Top 6 in Blue, plus SSS, and top 2 in Green = 9 teams
Leaving PLAYINS for the remaining 7 spots, might look like this
7th Blue vs. 1st Yellow winner
8th Blue (SSS) vs. 1st White winner
3rd Green vs 1st Red Winner
4th Green vs. 1st Purple
5th Green vs 1st Orange
6th Green vs. 1st Navy
7th Green vs. 2nd Navy

I saw the North Shore girls play this past weekend, it was my first time seeing them play. They lost 2-1 but I was very impressed with the way they play, and they looked like they were one of the best teams in green even though their record does not show it as of yet. They are very underrated in my opinion, and if they make state cup I can see them giving some teams trouble.

There is no state cup at u11. It is only a maple tournament. I agree north shore is a very good team.
