Hmmm. The post of someone who hasn't been around Mass. soccer for very long.

In the not to distant past, Inter boys won Andre Cup for a whole slew of years in a row. It did not end up predicting future success for most of these Inter teams, however.

To imply that Blazers are a new club is really naive, however. The Blazers have been around a LONG time. Almost disappeared about 3-4 season ago. This current U17 boys team was not the first Blazer team to make it to Regional finals however. They have had at least two VERY strong older boys teams in the last 6 years that did well at Regionals.

If the poster was implying that winning the Andre Cup in the first year that the team existed, than that is even more naive. There was no MAPLE U10 before 3 years ago. Virtually all Andre Cup champs were in their first year as a team back then.

Hmmmm, I think YOU are the one that hasn't been around long. As pointed out FC Blazers IS NOT SSU Blazers. And the reason Inter failed to produce in later years is that many of these players moved to the Bolts.

I'll take your word for it.

Its certainly true about Inter losing players (and even whole teams) to the Bolts. And the Bolts lost players and teams to the new Blazers. Now everyone is losing players to the two Academy teams. What makes you so certain that the cycle won't continue in the future with the next group of "grass is always greener" parents moving entire teams from the Blazers to somewhere else ?

I think one went to Scorps and one might have gone to Eagles. Not sure if any went to Stars but certainly a possibility.

One got injured during Stars tryouts and it didn't look good when they took her off the field.

What happened? Is she OK? My daughter has friends on the team, so we hope she is alright.

Are the Bolts definitely fielding a U16 team next year? A few of their best players have moved to new teams, not sure about others.

Anyone know the answer to this one?

We're still waiting for them to post of last year's tryouts. You think they are going to post this year's?

And I'm waiting for all the other clubs and teams to post how their tryouts went. And of course the Bolts should do this, provide info to you all who are not associated with the teams at all, but have not much else to do but wonder how every other team that your child is NOT playing for is doing. Get a life already.

they have last year's rosters posted. Not next year's.

And since they don't play in the fall, you face the prospect of a cold dark winter without the voyeuristic information you crave so desperately.

Based on the lack of answers from the rabid Bolts crowd, it can only mean that the answer is" "we will field a team in the spring if we can get enough players to sign on but right now we don't have enough though we're working on it"

Clubs only post what they don't want to hide. Bolts do not have rosters yet for rising U15 and U16s,and obviously aren't blabbing about that. Same as Stars aren't talking about the cuts yet,as some of these players will play in Nationals in a few weeks.The big difference is one club is thriving =D> while the other has hit the wall ](*,) .

The question is "are they going to field a team", NOT "who is on the roster". The Stars are definitely going to field U15 and U16 teams next year. Are the Bolts?

Boring......who cares? Do you have a girtl on the team? Do you have a girl who has an offer to play on this team?

If not, how does it affect you?

Why don't you worry more about reducing your carbon footprint?

Hate to disillusion you, but they never posted last year's roster and everything posted on their web site relative to the girls U15 team is from when the rising U16 Stars Rovers played as Bolts at U14 including pictures. From what I heard even the players who did not go to the Stars have now abandonned ship.

Can't see FCGB choosing not to field teams at U15 and U16 rising,as they have time to scramble and recruit throughout the fall. lets hope they dont repeat their past mistakes and recruit anything and everybody too early, just to fill the slots. Hopefully they will choose stronger players and put some quality efforts into recruiting. If they do it right, they could have teams in both although rising U15s couldn't play 8 v. 8 at this point. Older group is in a similar boat.
Doy. Of course stars will field teams. Don't get your self all worked up. Everybody knows that.Just making a comment that the suspense of not knowing what they will do with their discarded extras, thats all.

Who cares??? The teams that would compete against them in D2 if they have a team and the team from D3 who moves up if they don't.
