Both Western Mass teams played very well. Each team dominated at different times of the game. Didn't see any outstanding players on either team, which is nice when it is a team effort. Great game to watch.

Did the Western parents get together after the game and agree to all come here and post? The match was a 0-0 draw. I have watched over 5,000 matches between playing coaching and officiating, and can't recall a 0-0 match where one team totally dominated. That being said, the standings tell a completely different story. Results matter much more than Mom and Dad posting their biased opinions of the match.I am sure you outplayed them, but you still sit 4 points behind them and 3-4 places lower in the table. I hope you overtake them, but for now, I wouldn't be bragging too much.

Although effort and intensity was good, the technical standard on display was very poor. Both teams simply kicked the ball and hoped to chase it down and create something with pace and power.
Western dominated the early exchanges but that momentum soon drifted to an end without any penetration. Pioneers then went close with a free kick and that was that in terms of chances.
There is no doubt that both teams are talented but somewhat surprisingly, neither coach wanted to try an alternate approach which reulted in a scrappy stalemate between the Western Mass rivals.

We will see how good Pioneers are in next couple of weeks they have had easy end of schedule so far , tuff games are coming , standings will change drastically over next couple of weeks , western has had tuff schedule so far, NEFC-B will come out of no where to end up in top 3 or 4 ,Toss up between NEFC-z Or Stars for 1rst. Other than that alot of close games in U-12 g-blue , no super blow-outs , hats of to all players on all teams lots of close games and talent

I think the blonde girl was good from the Pioneers, but didn't bring her A game as I've seen her play in the past. Also, the Pioneers goalie had to work a lot more than the Western goalie.

We have played against both teams and there are a few talented players on each. If any of those standout players really want a shot at making it in the future, they will need to jump ship soon. The technical standards in the west are simply mediocre.

A shame Western did not come out on top, but they just can't finish

Everyone thinks BB's team will be last- I wouldn't discount them just yet either.
Stars are definitely the best team in this division, but we shall see once they play the Pride who ends up on top.
