Agreed, the MidWach and SWCL leagues have really no strong teams this year in Div2 or 3. Both champions should come from the above list.

Meanwhile, the MidWach A/B owns Div1. The top six teams are from that league, and the semis should be interesting.

The game was a fiasco from the beginning. One of the good old boys was doing the game.

As a neutral observer I will say that the Marlboro team and their coach acted like chuckle heads tonight. Marlboro deserved every single card they got and they could have easily gotten a couple more. Sucker punching a player in front of the ref for the fifth one - now that was really a smart heads up play! The best though was when the Marlboro coach asked the ref to check an Algonquin player's cleats because he thought they were metal spikes. Come on coach, get your players under control. The incessant whining from the Marlboro coach was over the top. Algonquin could have easily lost their cool but they didn't and the Algonquin keeper came up with a big save. It was very clear from the opening kick off that Marlboro's tactical plan was to play physical and the refs did let them play.
