Bromfield lost 2-0. Dominated at times but could not put them ball in.

Hmmm...TJ (top club striker) vs SY (top club defender). Should be a fantastic game.

Nipmuc - It will be a HUGE task for them to stay with CC but......Nipmuc plays much better as a team on turf as they have very good team speed on both ends of the field. They also have 3 quality offensive players that CC will need to watch as each can score on their own. If the defense can survive like they did against Groton-Dunstable in the CMass final they have a chance, a VERY small chance but better than nothing. They only use 13 players at this point and 8 of those are juniors, should make another strong run next year along with GD again.

Nipmuc has 2 (top club stikers) and 1 (top club defender). Gonna be closer than you think.

SY has been out for the last half of the season because he shattered his collarbone in CC's game against Weston.

Bummer, that's awful to hear - thought it was a simple shoulder injury. He's an amazing player.

He was running the center of the midfield for CC and he looked very composed for only being a sophmore. The worst part is that CC lost arguably their bext player not a week after against wayland with a compound fracture in his leg.

The Can Man might be a better spokesman - here's a quote from KM in today's MWDN - ""Soccer's a cruel sport. I thought we were the better team tonight. I thought my guys played really, really well tonight." Ok coach, most other coaches in your position would just congratulate the other team on a job well done, wish them luck in the State Championship game, and mention your own team's effort. That would be the mature thing to do.

At least we found out what the excuse is this year. The wind. Last year, TG having the flu. Next year?

Yeah, his quotes were unfortunate. He seems to be capable of being very gracious in his comments about teams that lose to the Gonk, but decidedly ungracious in defeat. WWJFD?

You are right - he should have mentioned how terrific the other team was and wished them good luck just like all the other coaches (North, Marlboro and Leominster) wished Algonquin luck? Oh that's right there are different rules for Algonquin.

The amazing top corner Ludlow goal that KM claims was just lucky & a freak goal caused by the wind, looks anything but if you watch the video on Masslive. Amazing shot, keeper looks out of position. Or was he too short to reach?

                                no strikers?

The 2011 season will be remembered as the year CB and CS combine for over 50 Algonquin goals. Coming off an ACL injury, CB will be fresh and eager to score goals. Using his size and the speed of CS, the Algonquin strike force will be unstoppable. Returning eight starters, the Tomahawks will run the show next year. Expect to see them in the state finals.
