The forum is pretty much devoid of anything positive and amounts to a series of attacks on identified or identifiable clubs, coaches and even players by malcontent adults, hiding behind "guest" . The missing piece is the identification of the trolls. In many cases I will bet that those on the receiving end know exactly who is the troll. Do MPS know who has it in for them? Do Scorpions and Crusaders know who is slinging the mud each way? Do the Stars Rovers know who is behind the campaign against them? Do Blackhawks know who is trying to denigrate their young player and her parents? Do the parents of the U14 boys that left Bolts for Blazers kids know who vindictively posts against them? As a public service maybe the people responsible need to be outed the same way as the players, coaches and clubs. Would you want them coming to your kid's team? Absolutely not!
What got me thinking is that this has actually started already with a series of "thanks xxxxx" or "play nice xxxxx" quotes on various threads.
It could go either way. The fear of outing may promote less troll postings or it may just inflame the situation. However, I don't see why bitter and hateful adults should get away with it with no recourse.
Thoughts??
