It still counts as a goal if it is not called offsides, Just because you think it is offside doesn't discount the goal.

and at the last Western/Fuller game, the goalie had possesion of the ball but it was counted as a goal. You lost get over it.

Maybe they should institute instant replay reviews in all MAPLE games so this injustice never happens again.

Why not feed the girls human growth hormone to give them an advantage over their competition? After all, these U12 girls are highly competitive, and the best 11 should play all the time. A little HGH isn't too much to risk for that Irwin Cup Championship. I mean State Cup.

Boy has this topic had its high points and low points.

I think the U15 Rovers have a 7 minute highlight on Utube

Not bad work for so earlier in the season.

Something to compare the U-12 to for those parents.

From reading the previous pages, the Stars have players joining the U12 team and WU have players leaving the U12 team. Getting "blown out" has nothing to do with a team unraveling and players leaving. If a team is unraveling it is better to take a hard look why then assume it's just the players problem. You may discover you have more problems then you think.
This has nothing to do with trying to stir the pot, just a basic observation.

In looking at the line-ups for this weekends PDA tournament, it looks like PDA has set themselves up with an easy run to the final. They'll need it as it looks like they didn't perform very well at Jefferson Cup.

The Stars will need to get by the Bridgewater Beat who just won the 2nd division at Jefferson Cup, while WU will have to get by Howell United. Fuller should have no problems playing in the 2nd division.

Several teams played last weekend at Jefferson Cup and I wonder if the 2 weeks of consecutive travel will take a toll on the kids.

This is why they should be taking HGH. It helps the body recover. If these pre-teens are going to be playing and travelling out of state two weeks in a row, then they are going to need chemicals to stay competitive.

Anyone have any suggestions for the glory hunting parents of these 11 & 12 year olds? They are going to have to keep their energy levels high throughout the grueling travel and still have enough left over to scream "BOOT IT" and yell insults at the players on the other team in an effort to gain that all important edge. After all, it could be the difference between winning and losing.

Never mind parents yelling at the kids on the other teams, we have a parent who yells at the kids on our team. :?
