Any one of these teams can make Sub Regional, it's not a big deal.
I would go on to say that even mid level D1 teams could get into subregional.
In other age groups, you don't even have to be in the first division. It's not a good league. It's only important to those teams that really want to play in the regional league but can't get in without winning sub regional.

[last season. The Greater Boston teams always struggle as U11s, and then they pick up more players each season. This GB team is pretty athletic. A decent team to be certain. They're not a first division type but most of the GB teams, even the current Stars Rovers, took a similar path of struggling as U11s and working their way up.
SORRY = WE PICKED UP YOUR BEST PLAYER LAST WINTER

Nothing makes any sense on this forum anymore, I have seen this age group. Stars and Western are the teams to beat. Both try and play the right way.

I agree this is my opinion
Top Tier
Stars
Western
Second Tier
Fuller
Third Tier
Scorps
Puma
Then everyone is just on par, by the way I haven't seen Black Watch so I won't place until they have a record against teams from Blue.

1. Who are the coaches? Experienced quality coaches will produce consistent quality teams, and those teams will improve as they get older.
2. Who are the "top" players? Despite what some others will say, you will see a consistency at the top as the group ages. That isn't to say that some late bloomers won't influence things, but players who dominate games at 12 will usually still be impact players at 16.
3. Who is playing up? Lots of 12 year old players will be on 13 or even 14 teams. As these players return into the division they will have a big impact on the balance of the competition.
4. Does your club have some destination teams? Over the next 18 months there will be movement to clubs that are perceived as more soccer- centric. Clubs that travel to the regional leagues and big tournaments will get a solid share of players that want "more soccer". However, other clubs will keep excellent players for the exact opposite reason. The desire to participate in more than just soccer.
5. The emergence of MPS? MPS squads don't have much impact until at least U13 and often not until older. However, eventually theere will be a MPS team that competes with the MAPLE d1 entries.
6. What styles do the teams play? To some extent all u12 teams must play lots of direct balls. They simply don't have the strength to play consitent one touch and accomplish anything. However, teams that are stuck on the old-fashioned kick and run, especially seeking out bigger target forwards who tend to play with their back to the net will usually fade as time goes on.
