No question 2010 will be a banner year for the Stars. They have the clear favorite team in every age group on the girls side, except for U15. If they can pull off an upset, they will perform a sweep.

The boys side will be one of parity, and a continued slipping of Bolts as they move their resources and priorities from the younger age groups to their Academy program. I think eventually this will be their undoing.

If anyone in Massachusetts is praying that the DAP will not expand further in New England, it's the Bolts. Without their pipeline of players into the Academy age groups they are going to struggle mightily to maintain it.

It would be nice if 2010 would bring some class and put a stop to the senseless club bashing such as this.

Here's hoping that bad things happen to you parents that post negative comments about clubs, coaches, and players of other families. You deserve it, and you should know better.

NEFC will be fine. I see more mergers in 2010. This will make the second tier clubs more competitive.

I don't think that post was bashing. There was nothing really nasty in it. It was just analysing the Bolts situation, which really is very interesting. Will the DAP be their claim to fame or their undoing? I don't agree that their younger teams are weak, but I don't know what the future holds either. It should be interesting.

I would look for FCGB, MPS, Stars, or Scorps to merge with someone.
