Here's a dose of reality for you Stars parents! The top 9-10 kids in the age group don't even play for the Stars and the Stars could be much better than they are if they had them. You should learn to accept what you are, which is a solid team with good players who play good team soccer and can compete at a high level. There is nothing wrong with that. However, you do not have strong individual players that are game changers like Western, Blackwatch, or Explosion. The funny thing about it though, I've never heard of a team as a whole receiving a college soccer scholarship because they always go to the individuals....hmmmm.Comment

If I'm a Stars or Scorpions parent I'm very nervous about tryouts this year. Usually U-15 brings about many changes with lots of player movement and I predict this year will be no different. I predict the Stars will drop/add 6-7 new girls while the Scorpions (who now play R1) will have a completely different team with a drop/add of 10-11 girls. I could be wrong but I think the numbers are very realistic.Comment

I guess we will see. We will also see girls who do not want the grind of club soccer any more and will drop down a division or team by choice. Once they hit high school their priorities change and other sports will become their priorities. Some will choose just to play for their local high school. Let's respect those choices and not come on here and say they all got cut. Players and families have choices and people should respect that each family has different priorities.
