Suck it up, you lost. I don't recall the rules state that a 6 - 0 game is considered a dominant team win. As the previous poster said, Stars controled 80% of the game and won with a decisive score of 2-0.

Scorpion team is going to in it for a long spring season and a long regional season. They got a great coach but the question is does the coach know what to do with the talent they have on that team. They got dominated by the Patriots team even though the score was only 2 to 0 The ball was in the Scorps half the whole game. hey Struggling to score goals also.

Fuller is going to be okay once the season starts

Explosion has work to do with the addition of some players But I am sure the coach will figure it out before season starts. Different team from the Fall season

Stars is a good team, they played well yesterday with the addition of the 3 new players, Not as dominant as they used to be, But again it is Pre Season

Western is western we'll have to see which western team shows up.

OK. Scorpion Bowl in Two Weeks. Time for some off-season prognostications.

First, the disclaimers.

1. Just like its off-season for the teams, its off-season for yours truly. Cut me a little slack, here.

2. Some teams have been training hard. Some teams have been hardly training. Some girls have been playing alot of BBall and not doing much FBall this Winter.

3. I have not seen all of the CT and NY teams play so my Mass. bias will be showing through.

Secondly, to the guy (or girl) who got all hot and bothered over the predictions in the Fall.... Lighten up, Francis ! If you don't like predictions, stop reading this post.

Here goes:

Girls U14 Championship - Bracket A

Stars and it won't be close. The intersting match-up will be Seacoast v MPS for second. In the Fall, Seacoast won the NEP but the matches with MPS were very close. Seacoast lost their keeper and a midfielder to Stars. I think this pushes MPS to finish in front of them. Rays won't get a point.

Girls U14 Championships - Bracket B

Explosion v Scorpions is the interesting match-up here for the right to lose to the Stars in the final. Fuller will keep the scores close but not have much of the run of play. I have never seen the Patriots play but any New York team coming up here with that name has alot of guts. Patriots don't appear to travel well. I think they may tie Fuller.

Girls U14 Championship - Finals

Stars over Explosion by 3 goals.

Patriots FC is not a strong team. Explosion is having their yearly spring drop off and the new look scorpions are just terrible.

Btw Rays will not be a factor anywhere but RI State Cup at this point. No good players.

The Stars are a team built to do well in tournament play. They have 18 very good players on their roster. Their 18th player would start for virtually any other team in Division 1.

With a roster this deep, they do well playing four games over two days.
