They should be grilled about price gauging and excessive profits.

Ramping up production is a short term fix to a current crisis. Long term your dependence on fossil fuels is not sustainable

It has never been about “ Saving The environment”. That’s just a convenient smoke screen to keep getting money from donors and appeasing a base of emotionally charged zealots. Just as Democrats use. Race, gender ,, any other issue that they can get traction on by spreading their Propaganda. To get their votes. To retain power.

They can’t put the oil companies out of business, They. can’t take away their power legally or with conventional methods. Regulations and stonewalling them will only go so far. They have their eyes fixated on the dollars, just like they were fixated on Health Care dollars that drove ObamaCare. Need proof? Look at the laundry list of greenie companies that received billions under Obama and then went belly up. Taxpayer dollars that ended. Up in Democratic cronies pockets. Wheres’ all the BLM money? How much got filtered to democrats on a side rail?

Democrats have the largest Teacher’’s Union making policies. They want UAW Electric cars bought, not Teslas. Their Federal State and Municipal Workers are Union. They pushed hard for the Health Care Industry dollars in their control. They have Medicare and Medicaid,, and set their bullseye on the private sector. And now they want to control the Energy dollars. Put their cronies inline to make a fortune ,,enrich China and make money. As they have been doing. They are Globalists and. Their intent is to flush . America down the toilet. Biden is the puppet that is doing their work.
Three more years ? How can America survive?

          Really??
          how so?
when will we run out of oil? they seem to keep finding new deposits every year
I dont have anything against Evs or solar or wind, like nuke better as it is cleaner and more reliable
but i believe in free markets free of Govt control- this push for green is forced and thats why it is so costly
green power cant do what fossil fuels are doing , not as efficient and not as economic

our economy may not be sustainable with the direction you want to take right now

Bidens ramping down of production is what caused all of this mess in the first place

now he has to run around hat in hand begging first PUTIN, then Madero, then Iran then the Saudis to please pump more oil and save his disaster
all he had to do was call TEXAS , NORTH DAKOTA, ALASKA and CANADA- the Canadians might speak with a french accent but mumbles could get his message out
they speak his language and would be happy to help

he would rather beg dictators and terrorists then speak to Americans- tells you all you need to know about this guy

brandon can get his 10% cut (he is the big guy) when he makes a deal with PUTIN, then venezuela, Iran and the Saudis. He can't get his 10% if we get our oil domestically.
thats the issue. Brandon, pelosi, schumer are all scum out for themselves and do not look out for what is best for people like you and I.

Anyone that does not see this is a typical deaf blind and dumb sheep.

he didn't ramp down anything. Oil companies set their production, as do international producers. If you're talking about Keystone not only was not up and running yet (and wouldn't have been for awhile) but it was but a blip in the grand scheme of things. It also only was moving raw goods to US refineries for export, not for US consumption

She noted that one oil field in the Gulf of Mexico operated by Shell was damaged by Hurricane Ida, prompting some refiners to purchase Russian oil as a replacement. That oil field’s production has since been restored, she said.

"I’m a little less optimistic that we can make up for the lost imports immediately," said Hugh Daigle, an associate professor at the University of Texas’ Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering.

He warned that the oil industry is still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic and faces similar supply chain and employment issues as other industries.

"Domestic oil production will likely increase in response to increased prices, but it will probably take months," Daigle said.

Short term?…..will take a year. You don’t just turn a well on and boom, it is at the pump. Biden screwed us all in his first days in office when he whipped out the pen and governed unilaterally with out passing any real laws.

so the billions of dollars budgeted for the Keystone pipeline was just for a blip? Bidens energy sec said just yesterday that Pipe is the best way to move product
yes it was not up and running in the US as yet, but that is investment for future- what the Biden admin did was make the future less certain, who in their right mind is going to invest large amounts of capital in exploration when the political climate is to shut you down
leases are not oil-leases are the ability to spend large amounts of dollars to see if there is oil , then see if there is enough oil in which to invest more dollars to actually set up and pump it

its a huge time and $$$ investment- from the actual infrastructure to get to your lease to do the exploration part ,then the infrastructure to actually get a well set up and start drilling, and all the infrastructure to move the product from well to refinery
Thats the stuff that Biden killed on his first week in office and now it is biting him in the azz- the American people as well

Liar why we need to ask Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Iran for oil , instead of asking American sources?? Why enrich workers around he world when looking for,, drilling,, refining and transporting American based oil creates jobs for Americans?

The criminals in Congress just voted to send nearly $. 14 Billion to Ukraine.. A country that NATO didn’t want because of corruption.. Apparently not corrupt enough for American taxpayers to support. Biden will probably sign it, giving taxpayer money to a Country with an economy that allowed Hunter Biden to get rich ..

The president doesn't set oil company production - the oil companies do. Aren't you cons all about less government interference? lol. Can't have it both ways. Direct your anger at big oil and gas and the $70B in profits they raked in last year.

Cons screaming about gas prices but also scream when Biden is exploring all options to increase worldwide supplies - can't have it both ways.

In 2008 when gas priced shot up because of Bush's middle east policies you cons screamed the president doesn't et gas prices. Now you think Biden does? Can't have it both ways.

Also you are on the losing side thinking Ukraine doesn't deserve our support. Even 80% of republican voters support Ukraine. It's funny since you cons keep pointing out how little Obama did (because the GOP controlled Congress and wouldn't approve anything) yet now complain that we are helping. Can't have it both ways.

Libby, piss poor attempt at the spin maneuver to cover up for your colussal clster fk of a prez. the world has ever seen.

                              1) oil companies are reactive to the policies set forth in front of them (bad policies by your elected leaders will lead to higher costs for the american consumer)...thats the way it is. time and time again your puppet messiah promotes bad policies....the rising cost of goods and services the last 14 months shows it.

                              2) Ukraine is the same as russia and/or any other eastern euoropean country, corruption out the @ss!!!!! you really think prez. zelinsky is a saint himself? the only ones suffering are the people of ukraine (its un fortunate) and hunter. however this little war is just a tiny spec of wars in the history of our planet and there will be many many others.

Would Ukraine support the US if they had to choose a side between the us and russia? now do you think they support our help?
We are spending billions to help support other countries borders.....yet your liberal slave masters think its not important to support our own?

libby libby libby...you got alot to learn....i'll pray for your soul however you might be to far gone.

the oil companies adjusted their production in direct response to bunker boy's policies...and the quote you pasted is in direct contrast to the excuse that pscocky gave that it would be fixed by the outstanding land leases...sleepy joe's policies were deliberately aimed at driving oil prices up to support his party's green agenda in hopes of forcing people into buying EV's...this is highlighted by the fact that they did not address rising prices until it started affecting their poll numbers...
