I mean...wink wink.....they can apply. I don’t know why anyone would go to spend that kind of money to not see any other people like you. Would you apply as an Irish cop to an elite club of Hasidic Jews, ****e Muslims, Amish, Mexican?

It is pretty clear when you aren’t welcome and it would be uncomfortable to spend time there.

Seriously - how many people of color with that kind of dough live in Newport? If it's more than half a dozen I'd be amazed. It isn't a club diversity issue but one of Newport as a whole. Another example of Dem virtue shaming.

There you go. Dud is tone deaf. His responses are what made it worse. “The club is working on it”. “Tradition”. Also the fact that he said he would in 2006 when he was running for office. All he did was transfer his shares to his wife.

If you don’t understand the optics, then you are an idiot. Especially for an “outspoken advocate against systematic racism.”

The mayor of a remote Colorado town sparked outrage after he nixed the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance from public meetings.

Shane Fuhrman, mayor of the 550-person town of Silverton, announced his decision during a trustee meeting last week, saying the pledge has led to threats and divided the community, KDVR reported.

“Due to direct and indirect threats, inappropriate comments in and out of public meetings, and the general divisiveness this is creating in our community, we will not be doing the Pledge of Allegiance during town of Silverton board of trustee meetings,” he said.

Fuhrman, who didn’t elaborate on the nature of the threats, said he was suspending recitation of the pledge “until such time that we can discuss this at a board retreat or workshop.”

Ever been to Silverton? I lived near there for several years. It's what little remains of an old silver mining town way up in the mountains in SW CO. Almost no one lives there in the winter, it survives off tourist $ in the summer. So besides it being a town of very colorful characters, if there were threats of some kind then it was right to stop saying it until it can be investigated. SCOTUS ruled decades ago saying the pledge of allegiance can't be forced on anyone. Why does it even need to be stated at a city council meeting anyway?

I thought kameltoe wasn’t going to do the border photo op thang. That’s the reason she didn’t go for 92 days right. That’s all she did tough. Stayed away from the real issue, going only to the new “Ellis Island”. Thank God trump finally got her there...a rushed photo op before is visit was weak though.

California officials have added Florida and four other states to a list of places where state-funded travel is banned over laws that purportedly discriminate against LGBTQ individuals.

State Attorney General Rob Bonta, a Democrat, announced Monday that Arkansas, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia had also joined Alabama, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas on the no-go list, which was first created in 2016.

Bonta’s office cited laws enacted in Arkansas, Florida, Montana and West Virginia that bar transgender females from participating in girl’s school sports. North Dakota made the list due to a law that permits certain publicly-funded student organizations to prevent LGBT students from joining without losing funding.

Wow.....these liberals are passing laws to limit travel to states because those states say only girls can play girls sports......

"Arkansas passed the first law in the nation to prohibit physicians from providing gender-affirming healthcare to transgender minors — regardless of the wishes of parents or whether a physician deems such care to be medically necessary."

Some of those states prohibit/severely limit the ability for gay couples to foster kids or adopt, along with other measures + blatant hatred. All would ban gay marriage had SCOTUS not ruled in favor of it. It isn't just about sports or bathrooms.

How about it isn't necessary? All of these things were pushed during the cold war, same with "Under God We Trust" on our currency and adding "One nation, Under God" to the pledge of allegiance. It's all forced patriotism and made religious to boot. You either feel it or you don't. Reciting the pledge or playing the anthem isn't going to change your mind. Religion should play no part in any of it.

Liberals deny the laws of biology, economics, and human nature, just to name a few. They think there is no difference between boys and girls. They think higher taxes don't discourage work. They think increased welfare and unemployment encourage work. Because they ignore fundamental laws of science and human nature, Democratic policies are hopelessly perverted. The Democrats' policies create problems that they can then purport to try to fix with more perverted policies, which will make the problems even worse, and lead to never ending cycles of perverted policies. That is why minorities are now worse off than they were 70 years ago before the Democrats purportedly acted to help them with affirmative action and more handouts. The laws of human nature dictated that those policies would reduce ambition, respect for accomplishment, and incentive to work hard. That is precisely what happened, but the Democrats will never take responsibility for it. Instead they deny it and push to double down on their policies in order to create more misery.

Can't drink, vote or go to war, but you can make a decision to change your sex.

                                Just doesn't seem right!

How many decisions did you make as a kid that you regret today?
