It just so happens that they has started in track & field. These same athletes would not qualify for any D1 scholarships because the athlete would not meet the hormone level requirements to qualify as a female.

Imagine the outrage on this site if, for example, in the Class LL girls soccer tournament, it was announced that two boys teams would be competing. The two boys teams would without question make the finals (please don’t even try to say that would not happen). Could you even imagine the Staples, Ridgefield and Glastonbury parents reactions to that.

Don't we have better things to do then get outraged about imaginary scenarios that will never happen?

How can you say it will never happen? The track scenario happened, it was reality. How would you feel if your daughter missed out on something she worked hard for over her HS career because boys were competing against her? Please answer honestly.

There is no coherent way to square (1) having separate competitions for females with (2) allowing transgender females to compete in those competitions. If you think that biological males have an advantage, then transgender females shouldn't be permitted. And if you don't think that biological males have an advantage, then there's no reason to break competitions out by gender.

An over reaction to something that happens less than .5% of the time. And if you all are so upset contact your state legislators. Bitc*ng on TS won't do a thing other than let you vent

I have several family members teaching in an urban junior high school. You'd be surprised at the number of kids suffering from gender dysphoria in schools today.

if Caster, a cryptorchid, was a racehorse she'd be running with the males not the females.

The issue is the small number of specifically male to female transgenders in high school that are also athletes that want to compete on girls teams. there are a few of those but is it a small few. just not enough to have affected enough people with a negative view of it to garner tons of outrage. Obviously you are outraged - we get that. But you are part of a very small group.
