    Unemployment rates

    nov 2020 6.7%
    Dec 2020 6.7 %
    Jan 2020 6.7%

Explain how a con sees that and analyzes as “going down.”

You just don’t pay attention to actual facts. Cons are allergic to them.

      Wrong on the facts.

*Trump inherited a 4.7 % unemployment rate under Obama and left us with a 6.7% rate

      * rate wasn’t declining under Trump prior to inauguration. It was steady at 6.7% through Nov, Dec and Jan

Joe has it down to 6.1 % already so things are finally going in right direction. Unemployment reached a staggering 13% under Trump.

Spare me your pandemic excuses. Presidents have maintained far lower unemployment rates when facing other crises like wars and natural disasters.

Trump failed to use the office effectively to put the brakes on a crashing economy

Bro....IS AAA wrong? Here is CT stats. Stick your head in the sand much?

So CT is still $1.30 less than the high under George Bush, a Republican ?

          Over $4.30 in July 2008?

What are you whining about? 13 years later has is at 75% of that? Thank you Obama!

Look at gas prices over time, especially adjusted to today's dollars, and gas is still cheap. As a poster above said the pipeline shutdown has caused the most recent spike (exacerbated by idiot hoarders) and overall supply is catching up to demand surging post Covid.
as you like to cherry pick economic and employment numbers that are post pandemic...you pick the data that suits your needs just as well as the next guy does lol...and surging gas prices are certainly due to supply and demand...and when you cut domestic supply you are at the mercy of foreign markets in which you have no control and things like rising tensions in a region can cause spikes

its easy to employ people during a war- especially a war like WWII
what natural disaster affected the whole country at once? what war or natural disaster shut down the economy for 8+ months? and which POTUS was in office?

you have zero idea what the F you are talking about

                          Neanderthal thinking......ha ha ha

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott — whose controversial early coronavirus reopening plan was slammed by President Biden as “Neanderthal thinking” — boasted that the state had zero daily COVID-19 deaths on Sunday.

“Today Texas reported: 0 Covid related deaths–the only time that’s happened since data was tracked in March, 2020,” the Republican governor said on Twitter.

He added that the state also had the “lowest 7-day Covid positivity rate ever” and “the fewest Covid cases in over 13 months.”

Look at the details. That day they had zero cases and deaths despite averaging 1500 cases and a few dozen deaths/day prior. It doesn't just disappear, especially cases. They might get lucky and have one day with zero deaths but its unlikey. Data just wasn't reported. 100% guaranteed it goes back up and the state won't make a public correction

no shyte- everything was shut down due to a global pandemic

notice how it started dropping from dec 20- when the vax came out- the longer the vax is out the better it will get to a certain point
and those blue state Govs who have been months behind are finally starting to catch up and open their states
