The Trump campaign still owes the city of El Paso TX over $500,000 from a FEBRUARY campaign rally. That was when the campaign was still flush. Several other cities haven't been paid for prior events either. In July the unpaid bills totaled nearly $2M. As he traverses the country these last few days how many other cities and counties will get stuck with costs for extra policing etc and never get paid? Probably all of them.

"As El Paso, Texas, battles the worst coronavirus outbreak in the nation as measured by population-adjusted cases, the city is also still fighting to get Trump’s campaign to pay its outstanding bill from a rally held there in 2019.

Trump’s outstanding balance of $569,204.63 for the rally he held in the border town back in February of last year still hasn’t been paid, according to El Paso Mayor Dee Margo.

“We’ve been unable to collect,” he told Yahoo Finance. “We're told even if we filed suit, chances of collection are slim.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James said her office is proceeding with investigations into Donald Trump and his family whether he wins re-election or not.

According to James, her first concern is making sure there is no election interference in New York on Tuesday, before assuring the MSNBC host that the Justice Department can’t interfere with her when it comes to the Trump Organization and financial improprieties.


“In New York, as you know, we have an investigation against the Trump Organization related to financial impropriety and that investigation is ongoing,” she began. “We will continue that investigation and at this point in time there’s nothing more that I can say other than the fact this they have used every legal attempt to block and deny us information and to witnesses. We filed requests to compel and we were successful. We had the opportunity to question Eric Trump and we are continuing to review all of the documents they have submitted and other witnesses as well — we look forward to questioning them also.”
