its very simple since religious group do tons of charity work and rely on donations- the federal govt decided to not stiffle charitable giving all this happened around the time of the first World War (1917)

the bureau of prisons is semi autonomous- they let Cohen out for Covid reasons and since they are letting everyone else out why not a middle aged white collar criminal- but as with all releases there are conditions-fail to agree to them and you dont get out- they let him out and then he said he didnt agree, bad form so they went and got him
why would Barr be bothered with any of that? if Barr wanted him in jail so bad he would have made sure he didnt get released in the first place

he didnt pardon stone he commuted his sentence

huge difference - cohen is supposed to serve his time as the bureau of prisons deems appropriate- (full, probation,homerelease etc....)
stone has been convicted - and still is a convicted felon he just wont have to serve his sentence

not all colleges and universities are tax exempt- ie State schools are but privates arent
but what they are talking about are the endowments that have certain tax benefits

When Trump leaves office January 21, 2021 Melania will file for divorce and demand her fat paycheck for staying with him. Between that and the legal cases he will have until he dies a bitter old man, he won't have much left for his grifter kids to fight over.
