No one has ever won the Presidency or been re-elected without the crossover voters. HRC won by 3M, well with the national polls margin of error. 110,000 votes in 3 states could not have been predicted by any polls. Then there's the voters who didn't come out, disgusted by both parties, but in 2018 and in the primaries there has been record turnout. The GOP does poorly when voters show up. That's why they work so hard to keep people away.

The next legal battle will be the push for more mail in voting because of Covid. It's one reason why Trump wants to thrash USPS. Even if he can't break it up, he's trying to cast doubt in the service's abilities and imply there will be widespread fraud. The irony is the US Military uses mail in voting and even Trump himself does in FL.
