the article you linked to was evidence of how scientist look at things- they want more time ,more studies, more data- which is fine

but it is being tested in the real world and that data(although small compared to normal studies) shows promise
this is 2 different entities looking at the same problem and wanting the same solution- nothing wrong with that-

It's a last ditch effort for the sickest patients. Hopefully actual scientific studies back up anecdotal evidence. The one upside of thousands of critical cases is immediate testing and quick results. Same with other treatments with existing anti viral. If anything works it can be ramped up quickly because its already FDA approved

the funny thing is it does work on a majority of patients if given at the right time
the FDA has given the green light for doctors to give it if they feel its beneficial (NY wont allow it for some reason)
Fauci has never said it isn't beneficial, he simply doesn't like the verbiage because the evidence is anecdotal- he is a scientist,thats his nature
