It's impossible to keep it to zero without completely sealing off our borders. Several of the US cases were from that stupidity with the cruise ship where passengers just waited to get sick and I think almost all the rest are from people who had traveled to the hot zone. There' sin't large scale US human to transmission - yet. What matters more is how it is responded to. The markets and the CDC aren't super confident with the administration. Trump and Kudlow sounding like the Chinese government didn't help.

It had a higher rate of deaths per infected person but it spread that much and didn't last long (November to July). This is spreading very quickly and while it's less deadly than SARS, it has a very high hospitalization rate. We can handle this if the spread is limited; left unchecked healthcare systems will be overwhelmed. The sick and elderly are at a very high risk

um, didn't you get the memo from slave boy. The obama administration was responsible for keeping sars down to 8000 cases. They were so good they went to china and enacted preventative measures so it didn't spread. Meanwhile trump has been sending planes to china to import infected people into the us and intentionally spread the virus. Although he is sending them mainly to CA.
