Let’s be clear here.
Obama did not approach Congress with this agreement. he knew he would never get the support, so he brought it to the UN. The UN which is one of world history’s greatest failures. So a “ deal” was thrown together that heavily favored Iran and left the US looking at the reality that Iran would indeed have nukes in 1o years.
To anyone that should be unacceptable , but to Obama and Kerry , it was all good. Since TRump is President, he has every right to squash that deal as well he should.
Iran has never been a “ model citizen “. They have been carrying on since the Shah was sent away in the 1970’s. They are sponsors and supporters of terrorism , mostly by Proxy, and they have many times called for the destruction of the only Democratic nation in the ME, which is Israel.
Over and over we see demonstrations and flag burnings calling for ‘ Death to America” .
If this is unacceptable and their regime must continue to be pressured with sanctions and a demonstration by the US that they are on a short leash. Their man in export is sitting in their ports , and that is why they are trying to disrupt the commerce in the Strait.
Although oil prices may temporarily spike this isn’t;t the 197’s, and the US can easily take control of the Starit and handle any issues they wish to present.
Iran has basically backed themselves into a corner, and they know it. All they can do is make some noise and hope to gain some sympathy .Comment
