Here's a snip it of Ronnie Boy.

President Reagan read the story about the cross burning in his morning Washington Post. A black family in College Park, Md., had just won a civil suit against a young Ku Klux Klan leader who had been convicted of terrorizing the family five years earlier.

Reagan’s deputy press secretary, Larry Speakes, said the president was jarred by what had happened to Phillip and Barbara Butler. “That was the first thing on his mind this morning,” Speakes told The Post on May 3, 1982. White House Chief of Staff James Baker and Deputy Chief of Staff Michael Deaver walked into the Oval Office, and the first thing he said to them was, “ ‘I’ve read this story. I’d like to go see these people.’”
Deaver found the Butlers at their jobs at the Government Printing Office, where they both worked as printers, and told them the president wanted to visit them at their home.

The Butlers had been newlyweds when they bought the house in 1976. They were the fifth black family to move into the neighborhood. They had lived there for five months when, on Jan. 30, 1977, the Klan burned the cross on their front lawn.

William Aitcheson, then a University of Maryland student and “exalted cyclops” of a Ku Klux Klan lodge, was charged with burning crosses at the Butlers and five other properties, including a synagogue, and sending a death threat to Coretta Scott King, the widow of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

But by the time a federal judge ordered Aitcheson, who had been convicted and sentenced to 90 days of jail, to pay the Butlers $23,000 in civil damages, his whereabouts were unknown.
Before he went to see the Butlers, President Reagan met with the National Security Council; was briefed by top aides over lunch; and discussed voting rights with the attorney general and the federal budget with members of Congress, according to The Post account of that day by staff writers Sara Rimer and Kenneth Bredemeier.

He finished his last meetings at the White House at 4:15 p.m. Fifteen minutes later, he and first lady Nancy Reagan climbed aboard a helicopter on the White House lawn.

A few minutes later, the helicopter landed in Beltsville, Md., and the president and first lady rode in a motorcade to the Butlers’ beige brick rambler in College Park Woods.

The Butlers, their 4-year-old daughter, Natasha, and Barbara Butler’s mother, Dorothea Tolson, were waiting outside to greet them.

The Reagans arrived with a jar of gourmet jelly beans, the president’s favorite candy. The Butlers invited them inside, where they sat on the sofa in the living room.

Rimer, who then was a Post Metro reporter, remembers how dignified the Butlers were. “My one memory is of how great the family was,” said Rimer, who now works in communications at Boston University. “My thought was, ‘How could someone do that to them?’ ”

Inside the house, Reagan told the family: “I came out to let you know that this [cross burning] isn’t something that should happen in America.”

Remember Trump at a rally - "where's my African American friend?". It's well known his team tries to find the few minorities at his rallies and put them behind him for TV

Speaking of SOTU stunts, Trump inviting a young girl with cancer - her parents had to start a GoFund Me page for her treatment. GOP wants to cut CHIP and ACA. Or Melania bringing a young boy who was teased because his last name is Trump, so he can watch the Bully in Chief speak. Several people he has given jabbing nicknames to were in the audience.

I have to admit, that during the shutdown, I began to question if trump was doin* the right thing. We need border security people. We need to change the rule that says asylum seeker families are released into the us within 20 days.
I know you think it isn’t a crisis, but it is. You are going to wake up eventually, but it will be too late.

Ps....none of the liberal media will report the truth.

Arizona is overwhelmed...this one is a little older, but it shows the pattern and how unprepared the us is to deal with it.

They ALL do it, dummy. If you truly believe he’s the only one, then you’re a sick individual. Hopefully, your family performs an intervention soon. Your hatred is consuming you. Time to move on with your life. Trump isn’t the Bogeyman. He hasn’t taken away your healthcare. He’s actually lowered the cost a bit. He hasn’t gotten rid of Roe v Wade. He’s simply tried to enforce a decades old problem of illegal immigration and stop terrorists from entering the country uncontested. I know you’re ok with both, but the sane people of this country try are not. One live lost for no reason is too many.

Such a shame and irreversible now. I have co-workers that are embarrassed to admit they voted for this guy.

                Carry on.
Hahahahahahaha! And yet, the Democrats can’t find a guy in the entire state of VA that isn’t a racist or hasn’t assaulted someone! LOL. You are a clown.

Trump hasn't done squat on healthcare despite having full GOP Congressional control for two years. Remember we were going to get "great" healthcare at a lower cost? Any Americans seeing a slight drop in premiums can thank the insurance markets, not Trump. Most saw significant increases whether it be via employer plans or ACA. Insurance companies keep jacking up deductibles and copays. One facet Trump talked about in the election was opening up insurance markets across state lines to grow the insurance pools and ramp up competition. One reason why CT premiums are so high is we're a small state with so few carriers. It hasn't happened. Why? Because the insurance companies don't want and their lobby is very effective. Trump and the GOP have been doing everything they can to kill off ACA without actually killing it - like pulling subsidies for low income people, trying to eliminate the mandate that you have to have insurance (you have to have it for owning a car, why not health?), going back to cheap crap plans that don't cover anything. It took years but Americans finally figured out there are things hey like about ACA, even if the costs haven't lived up to expectations. the idea of Medicare for all or at least a true national plan that actually works is growing in popularity.

Terrorists aren't crossing the southern border; they fly in on planes. They're caught with technology and intel personnel. We have a bigger problem with homegrown terrorists and nut job Americans with guns. I'm all for revising our immigration policies and putting money towards border security. But personnel, equipment and technology are all far more effective $ for $ than a wall. Trump can't get past his wall. Even many in his own party know the wall is a inefficient way to tackle the issue. Again, he had Congress in his pocket for two years and never got his wall. He turned down a wall for DACA deal last year. He's his own worst enemy.

Be careful what you wish for. There are many in GOP with similar personal history issues. There's a reason they're staying pretty quiet. More will be exposed in due time. Political OP research has taken on a whole new level. At least the Dems are pushing people out. Steve King gets wrist brush, not even a slap. Racist white trash Cindy Smith is a senator.

I heard a black pundit say something interesting - ask US how we feel about Northam. Yes they abhor blackface and certainly the KKK. Now a new survey shows VA is equally split on Northam - half want him out, half to stay. But blacks are bigger supporters than whites, most likely because he has a strong record of programs and legislation that helps their communities.

"Virginians are deadlocked over whether Gov. Ralph Northam (D) should step down after the emergence of a photo on his 1984 medical school yearbook page depicting people in blackface and Ku Klux Klan garb, with African Americans saying by a wide margin that he should remain in office despite the offensive image, according to a Washington Post-Schar School poll. The poll, conducted Wednesday through Friday, finds residents split over Northam’s fate, with 47 percent wanting him to step down and 47 percent saying he should stay on. Northam counts higher support among black residents — who say he should remain in office by a margin of 58 percent to 37 percent — than among whites, who are more evenly divided."

Pushing people out? No one is out yet. All I see are a bunch of dems talking the talk, but not walking the walk. Everyone wants to look good so they say what people want to hear, but in the end, they haven’t gotten rid of anyone.

Exactly. If it was trump, they would be protesting in the streets. But since it is a democrat, we forgive him. Mind you, this isn’t a case of someone darkening their face for Halloween to go as thier favorite rapper. Or Fallon doing a skit (although no one is hammering him). This is a guy wearing a kkk outfit or blackface in a demeaning fashion, ie overexaggerating physical features such as lips. It is on his personal page in the yearbook, so even if it isn’t him, which I doubt, who would want that image on his college yearbook page? Poor Kavanaugh was crucified for a drinking quote in his high school yearbook, but this clown gets away with calling himself a drunk in his college yearbook. It was an issue for one, it should be an issue for all or none.

The rapist just flat out needs to be impeached. Two women have accused him now. These aren’t nut job liberals like the ones that came out with fake stories about Kavanaugh. People who later recanted thier stories. These women were silienced by the same papers that would print unsubstantiated stories about trump or Kavanaugh. The silience and hypocrisy from the liberal metoo movement is shocking to say the least. It hurts thier cause and makes it look like a political stunt aimed at smearing republicans. This isn’t a kid coping a feel over a shirt in high school. This is an adult grabbing a woman and forcing her head onto his head and getting off while she cried and gagged. Makes Kavanaugh look like an alter boy.
