Sorry I am not willing to ruin a guy's reputation career and Supreme Court nomination because some lady comes forward at the last minute and accuses him of doing something that she will not meet officials to substantiate. It's pretty ridiculous and a timing is horrible. Either s*** or get off the pot. And she doesn't come forward he's in. I find the GOP rush to get him in and his not agreeing to a FBI investigation more fishy. Senate committee staffers got wind of this 2nd accusation last week and they responded by pushing hard for a vote by Friday. If they'd started an FBI investigation last Monday when Forde first cam forward they could have already wrapped this up. the GOP should welcome the chance to get something on the Dems.

There is nothing to investigate. All witnesses have giving written testimony that they have no idea what Ford is talking about. What is the FBI going to do, try to find someone that may have saw Ford walking home that day 36 years ago to see if they remember her emotions. Be real.


Besides this shouldn't be allowed to happen on principle. You should not be allowed to lop an 11th hour uncorroborated accusation, without evidence, and alter a nomination process. The republicans are only doing this to be sensitive on the optics.
