Who do you think is paying when uninsured illegal need Medical care at the Emergency Room ? We have enough problems with legal poor people and their medical bills.

Do you know that 38 % of the patients at Hartford Hospital are on Medicaid? 60 % of the children patients at CT Children's Medical are on Medicaid?

Why would we want to bring in more low educated poor for health care services when there are statistics like the above ? Should we raise you taxes another 10 ro 20 % to pay for the services that Illegals need? How about it ?
This is stupid. There is plenty of information available abut the financial contributions made by undocumented workers to the US economy. Read some of it.

Anywho. DT ran a campaign with many glaring racist elements. The birther crap is just one of the most blatant. If you think for a minute that DT actually believed that BO was not born in the US that is willful ignorance.

However the concept is the same give birth in America and get a US passport. All to give their child a better life
That is one area that needs to change and I'm not at all anti-immigrant. We are one of the few countries that still has birth-place rights to citizenship. Everywhere else you have some kind of connecting - usually at least one parent has to be a citizen of that country, sometimes they stretch it to grandparents. It definitely is abused - tons of Chinese women in SoCal doing it. It's a well run small industry there.

Actually I think he does know BO was born here, but when he saw the reactions he got he ran with it.

That said, I do think he's a racist.

We have been fighting the " war on poverty " since LBJ, spending trillions in the process, yet the poverty rate is nearly the same. Why would we want to import more poverty ?
Rates of poverty are very high among white US born in largely in Trump Country. US born living in poverty is 13.8% vs 16.5% foreign born. Hispanics are somewhat less likely to graduate HS, but among those that graduate they are almost as likely as native borns to attend or graduate college. They have rates of homeownership not that much lower than US born residents. In other words, hispanics are not as poor as the media likes to portray; the US has too much poverty that transcends all racial groups. .http://www.pewhispanic.org/2017/05/0...-current-data/

Kind of like the so-called Christians who overlook his countless affairs and other non Christianly behavior because they think he'll get Roe v Wade overturned.

Yeah for me racist is a non-starter; I don't care what your policies are.

Racism can not be excused. It can be understood. It is learned behavior. But it cannot be excused or tolerated. Not here.

Many upper elite blacks don’t agree with you. I’d be more concerned about them first.

I still think Obama was born outside the us, but I moved on. Where is was born to me is not important, just that it wasn’t in the us. Doesn’t make me a racist. If Ben Carson won the republican primary, I would have voted for him. Just like not wanting shillary to be president doesn’t make be sexist. I would vote for woman as long as she was not crooked like shillary.@

I am talking about illegal immigrants. The truth is you and everyone else have no idea what they earn, how they earn it and what else they do with heir time. They're living " in the shadows" remember ? What's the chances of an illegal immigrant with a JR. High level education struggling to speak English , earning a " living wage " ?

Certainly looks to me like someone who can think for themselves, and vote according to who they believe best fits their model vs. based on color and sex, no?

The GOP tend to preference voting their party leaders by Race, Gender and or color, while
Independents and or Democrats go by message.
It’ll always be a struggle for the GOP to a win major Election with a minority conservative candidate based on that, and for Dems and Independents the struggle will be winning a major election based on a tough Liberal. If either party could work more to that line then they would hold the Presidency and Congress for a very long my time.

Ummmm. No. You think the birth certificate is a fake. That is nutty and makes your general judgement suspect.
