the economy right now is heathy-certainly healthier than in the past 8-10 years
as far as looming dark issues on the horizon- they have been there for the past 40 years, certainly way before algores lock box, try the 60s when a dem congress put the boomers SS$$$ in the general fund and spent it , thats why they keep kicking the can down the road, they cant fix the problem without cutting entitlements ,which they wont do and goes against every Dem issue , unfunded wars certainly havent helped either
but lets flood the system with new unskilled benefit takers that will fix it all. Congress Fed this up 40-50 years ago and every one since then except for Newt in 1994 made it worse

dont know or care, but for sake of argument lets say he did
