There was great anger about Clinton being in Bridgeport for a $2,700 meal ticket to rub shoulders with other wealthy wannabes....But how would you know that, i was at the Sanders Rally was you? i heard the muster of negative talk did you?
Here's the CT post article that the NAACP Chapter President George Mintz carefully quoted his frustration, and be aware he was not invited and neither did he want to attend. He had no idea who the wealthy guy was ...talk about Democrats being disconnected in the poorest of neighborhoods.

In a city known more for its high poverty rate than fundraising largess, former President Bill Clinton made a foray into Bridgeport on Tuesday to help Hillary Clinton pad her massive campaign bank account.

Clinton spent two hours mingling with wealthy contributors to his wife’s presidential bid at the $4 million Black Rock home of Nigerian-born software executive Oni Chukwu.

Not once did the 42nd president bring up Donald Trump, who has publicly assailed Clinton for his previous marital infidelity.

“He never mentioned that name,” said one attendee, who asked not to be identified because the reception was closed to the media.

Clinton instead touted the resume of the former secretary of state and former U.S. senator, portraying her as a problem-solver who has sacrificed personal gain to help others.

“The crowd, they were, like, mesmerized,” the person said. “He is the natural cheerleader.”

Many allies of the Clintons in the state missed the reception to attend the final State of the Union address of President Barack Obama, including Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, who was invited to sit with first lady Michelle Obama.

Organizers declined to release fundraising totals for the event, which drew about 50 people, including Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim.
But Bill Clinton’s return to Connecticut — where he and Hillary met as Yale Law students — drew the scorn of Republicans and criticism from some Democrats over its $1,000-minimum price tag.

“I think it’s very fitting that a Democrat would have a fundraiser there, a city that’s been abused by their policies, a city whose taxpayers have been crippled,” said Jack Fowler, publisher of the conservative magazine National Review, and a Milford resident.

A faction of liberal Democrats and Working Families Party members loyal to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Clinton rival, staged its own rally Tuesday in Bridgeport to protest the lavish fundraiser. An advisory for the event listed the Greater Bridgeport NAACP as a sponsor, which the group’s president George Mintz said was erroneous.

“Oh my God, no,” Mintz said, adding the group would never take sides in Clinton versus Sanders.

The group was only participating to try to get more people involved in the NAACP, Mintz said.

1). I don’t need my president to be presidential. What does that even mean? I want him to solve problems, get things done. This is not a popularity contest.
2). The president is supposed to reflect what’s best to be an American? No, that’s not what a president is supposed to do. That’s not the purpose. It might be a nice to have but not even close to top of the list. What you perceive as a American others may not.
3). The president is not my moral authority. Maybe if you’re an atheist you use it as a beacon of morality but that’s way down the list for me as well.

What should be considered above and beyond the Snowflake’s view above:
            1). Policy
            2). Decision making
            3). View of constitution
            4). Protection of country.
Oh yes,,,policy! Guy is a policy genius. If by policy you mean one that can be detailed in a tweet or in embroidery on a hat!

Actually yes, I'm not talking about a policy wonk, that's a useless inside the beltway talent. I'm talking about the policies Trump wants to pursue. They are very clear and simple and he does a masterful job of dumping it down so even Snowflakes know where he stands.

Simplified and dumped down the clear and simple repeal and replace policy to the point where it has completely disappeared!

Sadly, doesn't appear to be the case. Instead, it's a place to act like the very turds people complain about.

For a while it was good reading. Now, it's just sad.

I'll give you that but not Trump's fault. That lies squarely with congress who had several years to come up with a plan and get the GOP on board. Although he did get rid of the individual mandate which is a major component.

He would take FULL credit if congress had produced a plan.

He thinks he gets it both ways where he can take credit for the good and blame away every failure and mistake. It would be more amusing to watch such childish behavior if he was not sitting in the oval office. I don't let my kids get way with such nonsense.

Of course he would. I don't understand why that bothers Snowflakes that much. All politicians do this, Trump just does it in a more grandiose way and with more conviction.

Jeeez...so a convicted jailed Felon Ganim (Mayor of Bridgeport) a former impeached President (Clinton) with a history of sexual abuse & one case of Rape...Gathered up in a 4million dollar Mansion in Bridgeport . . Im almost afraid to ask what other dangerous culprits was at this bash. There's been Swat team raids for far less.

Remember his "who knew healthcare is so complicated" comment? lol. Yes part of the blame lies with the GOP congress and their lack of effort to craft a better plan over multiple years. But as a so called deal maker he put forth almost no effort to make a deal.
