There is a process for those seeking asylum. They are treated differently. But those that simply want a better life, while I can sympathize, I also think they should have to go through the same process that so many others have before them.

So what is your solution. When people illegally cross the border and are smuggling minors....who may or may not be their children I might add. Do you just let them in? Maybe if there was a wall, the kids wouldn’t face the hardship of being separated. Maybe if Mexico secured the border on thier side, we wouldn’t have the problem. Maybe if Mexico took care of the drug smuggling and drug violence, there would not be a problem.

Sorry.....don’t blame the guy enforcing a us law against illegal immigration. Why don’t we have this issue with Canada?

At least 5 states are recalling their troops including MA which had a R governor. National Guard troops can't actually do much of anything regardless by law. They're doing busy work. But the reality is desperate people will still take desperate measures. The other reality is that an estimated 70% of illegals cross legally and overstay their tourist,work or student visas.

Do research on crime in immigrant areas. It's actually lower than general population figures. Don't believe WHAT talking points. There are mutiple credible government and non partisan groups with data to prove it. Also the issue here is separating families who are fleeing extreme danger.

Ok research king, the fact that you can say with a straight face that you would rely on research of crimes of illegal immigrants is pretty funny. That would mean you'd have to definitively know the real population of illegal immigrants. I guess the government goes around and tags all the illegals like tracking bears here in CT.


And why is there only a surge of these illegal immigrant families in the summer. Does the danger only occur when the weather gets really hot in Mexico and Guatemala?
