NYC and the surrounding boroughs minus Staten "Guido" Island is made up of immigrants of all nations. Do you think high military honors are given all the time? Of course that won't be found because 1) it is uncommon 2) we haven't been in that many conflicts in large numbers recently 2) some of those ethnicities you list make a very small percentage of the US population and US military 3) many ethnic groups were excluded from military service or were marginalized while serving (Tuskegee Airmen ring a bell?). It's only been since WWII that the ethnic composition of the military has begun to change. It's now made up of 40% minorities, somewhat higher than the general population.
