Thus far he's replaced 60 miles of already existing fencing. The border is over 1800 miles long. His "allocations" are taking away money from FEMA, rebuilding in Puerto Rico and dozens of military (including military housing) and readiness projects across multiple states. All in a desperate attempt to have something to show his base by November 2020. The $3.5B won't even cover all the costs of his vanity project, nor will it do much of anything to stem illegal immigration. The cost per immigrant stopped is absurd.
