Democrats were against the Iraq war; this is not the Iraq war. Now the GOP are calling for hearings about the withdraw. They're actually more pissed than the Dems. The military and allies think it's very bad idea. Isis isn't dead. It's hiding. They will do whatever it takes, however long it takes. If you have Fox pundits saying it's a big mistake then hell has frozen over and pigs fill the skies

To end Donald's already terrible week, shutdown still looming, stock market had it's biggest one week drop in ten years, down 20% from its prior high, supreme Court won't listen Trump's latest attempt at banning asylum seekers. That was just today.

2019 is the last New Years she sees unfortunately. If she goes too quick, we are screwed as Donald hump will have another appointee. If she can make 2020, we are good. This lifetime appointee stuff has got to go. They need a mandatory retirement age, I am sorry. Had she gone out under obama, when she first hit her 80s, we wouldn’t be in this position. She was selfish. Find another way to serve. Do some pro bono work. represent immigrants or the poor. Give back and help your party.

Who was the one who said he'd sign a stop gap measure then rescinded suddenly yesterday after being rebuked by Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter? It wasn't the Dems. Many legislators had already left town, foolishly assuming Trump would actually do what he said he would do.

Also, almost all in the GOP - including McConnell who normally never criticizes Trump - are furious about the the pullouts. Obviously our military isn't happy (read Mattis' resignation letter) nor are most international leaders. Putin's grinning. Dems don't want to put troops in harm's way (silly right?) but they also know that at times measures need to be taken. just last week the National Security Council said Isis is NOT defeated

Why won't people just speak to the reasons behind his move and ask if that is in our best interests or not?

Isn't the accepted intelligence opinion that while the caliphate may be destroyed, that there is no real proof yet of an enduring victory over ISIS in Syria? Have we achieved that objective?

Isn't there also strong intelligence reporting that this pullout leaves the Syrian Kurds fairly exposed? And isn't there strong evidence that Erdragon has told Trump of his intention to attack those Kurds, whom he views as rebellious?

And aren't those the same Kurds we swore our alliance to when we entered this fray? And isn't that the real reason we do not have a Secretary of Defense today?

They’d be having a parade if Obama did this but since it’s Trump, no. Hell, Trump could literally pay for their kids college and they’d find a way to criticize him. I'm a huge supporter of term limits for SCOTUS and Congress. 15 years for SCOTUS, 10 years total for the house, 12 Senate. Done. Level out the partisan battles over nominees, and get legislators back to do doing their jobs instead of always getting re elected. Get new blood and new ideas regularly

Obviously Putin wants us out of Syria. Trump got bonus points by then adding Afghanistan. The impetus for both are glaringly obvious. Turkey wants us out also so they can crush the Kurds. But what power does Erdogan have over Trump? Easy.
