I'm in my 60s. I'm a Vietnam era vet, but didn't serve in country. I was not a fan of McCain's politics and I tend to vote in that mushy area just to the left of Libertarian.

I liked the guy. I liked that he stood on his principles, even if they were not mine. I think he was a honorable man, who spent his life serving his nation as best as he thought possible. He has earned the respect he has and even more than he will ever receive. He was truly a great American even if I wouldn't vote for him because of his politics.

You couldn't even stand a moment in his shoes and give what he gave to this nation. And our current President isn't worth the excrement on the bottom of McCain's shoes.
