A coronavirus forecasting model that the White House has relied on predicted on Friday that virus-related fatalities in the US might hit 410,451 by Jan. 1.

The model of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), an independent research center at the University of Washington, says safety measures and restrictions, including mask use and social distancing, can save 122,070 people.

Easing of restrictions would lead a worst-case scenario of 620,028 total deaths, according to IHME

Less than three percent infection rate was where we needed to be to go to Phase 3. We are at less than 1 %.

Democratic govs gave themselves unprecedented powers during initial months of covid. Some like Cuomo became like rockstars. You think they are in a rush to cease control back? No way. They crippled or killed whole industries, changing rules as they go.

I can not see a day when people don’t have to wear a face diaper. As long as there is one case, they will keep the requirement in place. No gov will make that call and risk one death being attributed to him or her. American hallmarks like the Super Bowl, World Series, july fourth celebrations, concerts, all gone. Live teaching, college graduations, HS sports. Gone.

In vogue? Civil unrest. Violent protests. Looting, arson, all tools to be heard and force attention to any minority Or fringe perspective.

Democrats are destroying our culture and social fabric.

“To take all policing off is something that I think a latte liberal may go for as they sit around the Hamptons discussing this as some academic problem,” Sharpton said.

It is clear from the events this summer that violence is a means to an end.
Can anyone really argue that.

Some of those states are not Blue states but have higher case numbers so moving football makes sense. NY and NJ are both Blue and they are playing football.

Note, I say moving not cancelling altogether. Hopefully they can play in the spring. I feel for the players. It sucks but they're stuck in a literal political football. The nation knows the majority of college football programs are shut down and the NFL will no doubt have some outbreaks - it's inevitable - so politicians have a hard time justifying HS football as well. Face it, many people don't care about data and facts.

so the science doesnt matter ? are you really saying the DPH should change their stance because of a protest or do you want the CIAC to disregard the DPH ?
