Yup. And there are other vaccines that lose their effectiveness over time because of mutations or lessened potency. Only some vaccines confer lifelong protection. Flu and Coivd definitely do not. No conspiracy, just science

He says that he believes in divine creation, and that the shot is a miracle — a sign of God guiding scientists in their attempts to curb a devastating virus. Yet, for his nondenominational congregation, the provenance of a lifesaving tool was not as obvious.
The hesitancy was clear from the beginning. When cases surged, some of Davis’s congregation, which numbers more than 6,000 parishioners, had a different idea of the pandemic’s effects. One spat back false information to the pastor. Others did not trust government and health officials. Davis said he tried to bridge the gap — enacting safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, encouraging vaccinations when doses were made available, and discussing the virus on social media.

That all was prior to FDA approval and data showing how safe and efficacious the vaccines are. Trump was always out for himself and well known for pressuing people to do what he wanted, cut corners. Once data came out Biden and other Dem leaders all got vaxd. Dems are vaccinated at significantly higher rates than Republicans. Blue states are vaxd at significantly higher rates than red. Only 5% of unvaxd Dems said they will never ever get it vs 70% of unvaxd Republicans.

For sure more kids are winding up in the hospital. Almost none did before delta variant and now just a few more do .... but, yes, "more kids are winding up in the hospital" is technically accurate. At this point, still only 26,000 people have died with complications due to covid since the beginning .... for people under 50!! (https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/c....htm#SexAndAge). Less than 3k under 30!! This is not an issue for the young at all. If you check that site, monthly, only 63 people under 30 died in July due to covid. Hardly a blip and less than almost all of the months before. MSM is a joke and so is the CDC. They need to paint a more accurate picture and stop using scare tactics and skewed data and vague inferences to scare the world. It's getting old and the rhetoric is now falling on deaf ears and it is their own fault. I am not doubting that covid is a huge issue, it just isnt for the average person under 70 without a pre-existing condition .... that is what the science says. Now, focus the vaccination efforts on the small percentage of people with pre-existing conditions and over 60 and everyone will be fine. It's that simple. And no, not everyone needs the vaccine. With or without vaccination people can carry the disease and spread it. If you have the vaccination, the symptoms are highly likely to be very mild. That's it. Simple!
