Now boosters at 6 months.
Boosters FOREVER!
They must really be scared how bad this fall will be.
CT will be worse then last fall in cases & hospitalization.
Luckly delta is less lethal.
If you are mandated to get vaccinated you might want to find out how many boosters you will be mandated to take.
Hint All if them.

Anti-mask protesters outnumber and shout down Lamont's roundtable discussion yesterday forcing the event to end.
COVID-19 fatigue at its best.

And so what if you need boosters? Flu requires it because viruses mutate. Certain other vaccinations also lose efficacy over time.

^ compare how CA is doing vs TX and FL. CA has a higher vaccination rate and more mask rules. Take a guess which is doing better. This will continue to be the case of blue vs red states.

why are the very same people who are screaming about mask mandates and vax numbers are also the same people loading 800 people on a C-47 with no masks and no tests
not protecting our southern Border with even a min effort and the distributing un tested people throughout the nation
If its this serious, which we all know it is why are the people in charge of it acting the least serious in terms of the health of the population they are sworn to represent?

and we were very stubborn in the face of public safety- we went to war with the biggest bully on the block with no real standing army
God! some people dont know the history of this country- 4th grade social studies

"droves" lol
"Migrants are not tested for Covid in Border Patrol custody unless they show symptoms, but all are tested when they leave Border Patrol custody, according to DHS officials. Immigrants who are allowed to stay in the U.S. to claim asylum are given tests when they are transferred to ICE, Health and Human Services or non-governmental organizations. Deportees who are scheduled to be put on planes out of the U.S. are tested for Covid and other infectious diseases by ICE."
If they're caught and immediately turned back at the border they are not tested.

Migrants are not the cause of Covid surging - the unvaccinated are. Mexico has masking rules and a lower positivity rate than US border states, or FL which doesn't share a border with Mexico.

See above post about the border: migrants are not why covid cases are spiking. In addition to above, CA is doing significantly better than FL on covid right now. CA has much higher vaccination rates and mask rules, FL does not. Which of those two states borders Mexico? If CA is being flooded with contagious migrants, shouldn't they be spiking like FL? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime...lot/ar-AANDD7y

What is clear is that Delta is 5 times morre contagious than the original strain (because, as the poster noted viruses mutate). But if you want to remain unvaccinated here's a few stats for you: you're 5 times more likely to get Covid than if you're vax'd, and 25 times more likely to wind up in the hospital. If you were vacinated and wound up in the hospital, you're 25 times likely to survive than if you weren't vaccinated.
