The way I read the CIAC HS soccer guidance is as long as cases are less than 356 on a 7 day moving average and no significant trends upward games are on. Current 7day case count is 139. That allows cases to rise by ~200% from where they are today.

We are out when our youngest finishes high school. Can't wait. Once we leave we will finally have a ton of breathing room. My advice for every single one of my kids as they finish high school? Decide where you will have a family and live your life by the tax rates and quality of life of the places you are considering settling down in. Wish we were given that advice. We grew up here and thought every place was like this when we were younger. Then we got trapped here when our kids had established their own lives and friends. I do not want that to happen to them.
CT sucks
You are spot on

Based on CT testing numbers (total test per day), virus prevalence ( under 1%) and the PCR test, 20-30% of the positive test are false positives.
Look at last weeks # for CT.
823 first time positive out of 93,792 test
Adjust this for false positives
576-658 test positive out of 93,792
That is .6% - .7%

Testing availability and accuracy has been a problem in the US since late January. We still can't get it right, but testing less (Trump's goal) does not not help. Too many people are asymptomatic or pre symptomatic. You need to keep track of those people as much as you do those with symptoms.

The rest of us should be tested if
- we have symptoms (duh)
- have knowingly been in close contact with an infected person
You shouldn't get tested out of curiosity, or you heard a cashier at your local Stop and Shop had it.
No need to make it political, or in your case, extremely biased.
