A Johns Hopkins professor and surgeon says that the coronavirus could be “mostly gone” by April.
Marty Makary, who teaches at the university’s School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, said in an opinion piece published in the Wall Street Journal on Friday that daily infections have declined by 77 percent since January.
Joe and the ho....yesterday....
“I believe we’ll be approaching normalcy by the end of this year. God willing, this Christmas will be different than last. But I can’t make that commitment to you. There are other strains of the virus. We don’t know what could happen in terms of production rates. Things can change,” Biden said.
I mean..... does he check with scientist and public health officials or is his strategy just make it seem like the sky is falling and if it doesn’t, I look like an over achiever. First they say they are starting from scratch, even though 1.5mm people were getting the vaccine the day he took over. Then he said we don’t have enough vaccine, even though he admitted the couldnt account for what was on hand so he bought more. Then he said 1mm people will get vaccinated a day, until some one reminded him, 1.5mm got vaccinated the day he took office. Then he said Schools will be open in 100 days, but defined open as half the k-8 kids going to school once a week. Then he backed off that.
This guy has a low iq and diminished mental capacity. So you got what you asked for. So far, he is inept at best.

I encourage you to open your eyes and take a look around at what’s happening
Covid is receding at record pace even in places without vaccine
Look back at other pandemic’s and what happened
They too ended without vaccination
I don’t need to government to tell me it is safe
Like I don’t need a weather man to know which way the wind blows
Virus is saying goodbye
You can fight about why
I am going on about my life as normal

Personally I am quite sure this virus hit CT in the fall of 2019 and for that reason more people have had it than the stats indicate. I was sick with a cough from October to December that year. More stories out of China are pointing to an earlier and well spread virus around the same period. It only takes one person to board a plane from then to get things going.
The other thing I would raise is whether simply vaccinating the healthcare workers alone is responsible for the drop. For all we know they may have been a steady conduit for this virus (unknowingly).

To the opinion guy......it is the opinion of economists that 15 min wage will result in higher unemployment and that the same group of people, low wage workers, that you are trying to help, will suffer with higher unemployment.

If former Vice President Joe Biden gets elected in 2020, he's curing cancer. At least that's what the presidential hopeful promised at a campaign stop in Ottumwa, Iowa, on Tuesday this week.
"I promise you if I'm elected president, you're going to see the single most important thing that changes America," Biden announced. "We're gonna cure cancer."
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden paid a visit Saturday to former Sen. Bob Dole, days after the World War II veteran and 1996 Republican presidential nominee announced he’d been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.
He probably told dole to hang in there, he should have this cancer thing solved in his first 100 days. If not, he will whip out his magic pen and do it by executive order

The charlatans want to keep the spotlight & $$$
This is over.
And we didn’t need the vaccine to end it.
This is what has happened since the dawn of mankind.
Time to move on Karen.
