Marty Makary, who teaches at the university’s School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, said in an opinion piece published in the Wall Street Journal on Friday that daily infections have declined by 77 percent since January.

Personally I am quite sure this virus hit CT in the fall of 2019 and for that reason more people have had it than the stats indicate. I was sick with a cough from October to December that year. More stories out of China are pointing to an earlier and well spread virus around the same period. It only takes one person to board a plane from then to get things going.

The other thing I would raise is whether simply vaccinating the healthcare workers alone is responsible for the drop. For all we know they may have been a steady conduit for this virus (unknowingly).

So what your saying is , just lie to the people. Tell then it isn’t safe to send your kid to school and teachers aren’t safe. Tell them we need another 1.9b of slush fund giveaways and a 15 dollar min wage because the boogeyman is out there.

Probably a more complicated chart that is modeled on the fact that there are new variants to which the vaccine and prior exposure are not generating the same level of immunity needed to achieve herd immunity.
