Its been 3 whole days since the last OW post. Have any more girls left the club to go to ECNL?

Only losing kids 05 and younger; haven�t lost 1 04 and up.

Because most 04s are juniors and 03s seniors. Not only is it very hard to find a spot (a new team will only add starters, not #8-22) it's also less likely players want to move by then. If they're not getting traction with recruiting by now it's not going to change because they change teams.

Either way, no movement in those age groups. It would be pretty foolish to move out of OW as an 03 or 04.

This year might be different with old these dark periods on recruiting. These early showcases and early winter events (ECNL SC and FL) which are held in December and January could be huge....especially for an OW 2003 player not getting traction.

The GAL is total no man's land for recruiting at least for the first few years.

But those events may not happen at all. Besides GALs was supposed to be November, even better timing right? Face it, the window is closing fast for non recruited senior 03s. I feel for the kids and they're under tremendous stress. I hope they find eaht they're looking for. Junior 03s and 04s still have time and if ID events and showcases happen winter/spring they will be ok. It's a later timeline bit that's the reality right now.

It's a start up league that consists of second tier clubs. How busy do you think their November showcase would be?

If the large events don't happen, you'll see the NE ECNL clubs band together to put something together. This has happened at PDA in the past and worked well.

Agree that its tough to move for rising seniors but if a spot opens that could very well be a life raft.

Coaches insist on EA or ED applications, which are typically due by Nov 1. They want to know for certain a player is locked in; if they can't get admitted the coach needs to go down to their wait list. Unless colleges allow ID events this fall for seniors to be seen, their time is running out. They could get a later regular admit spot, but for certain there will be no money left. That was mostly wrapped up already.
