Her huge size advantage was diminishing and the other mediocre players at OW we're catching up to her and getting more and more PT ..... Time to sell her past accomplishments to some new sucker club.

You haters are comical. The hardest thing to do in soccer is score goals. That kid puts it in the back of the net on a high average. That is without speed, skill, or power, but only size....ACCORDING to the haters. I don't believe the kid will be on the USWNT, but she will not have to pay for her college. 98% of you TS trash talkers can't say that. SMH!!

Oh, but she will have to pay about 50% at this point ..... More if her peers continue to catch and pass her. She couldn't keep OW afloat anymore and needed to move to a better team to maintain the winning percentage of her teams since she couldn't do it alone anymore. Got it?

50-75% if she is going Power 5. She can get a full ride easy in mid major. There are kids that can get full tuition into senior year with coaching changes, players leaving, etc. It may not be all athletic, but it ends up the same. It is a team sport and the kid scores goals, and plenty, so coaches do not care about teams being carried or win percentage. They only recruit the kid.... Got it?

In fact, the sidways and backwards play and the requirement not to keep the ball but to hurriedly give it to someone else, lest it explode, and the de-emphasis of confidence, use of passing lanes, and 1v1 and 1v2 play to move the ball forward, were really causing loss of footballing skills. Plus, dad wasn't a coach, so there wasn't even that to keep her. Honestly, Sporting would have done a better job.

The fact that sporting has so many kids go to OW at about u13 and be very successful speaks volumes, doesn't it? Sporting coaches and parents should wise up and work harder to keep their players so that they can continue to kick OWs asses into the teen years rather than bail them out of their own failed development by providing them with better players.

Why LK left OW

LK left OW for a couple of reasons, but it came down to the nut-job mother of another player who thought LK was stealing her daughter's perceived attention and 'limelight.' There was a big battle in the stands one game last year between the mothers regarding it. I'm not sure if it made its way to OW admin, but it was an ugly scene. Irony is now that LK is playing for NY, this other player is nothing and has done nothing to better herself or the club. While playing with LK, defensive attention was given mostly to LK, and that allowed this other player to thrive. Karma is a bitch I guess...

LK is a great player and I wish her nothing but the best at her new club. Sadly, there are more crazy competitive parents out there that all they care about is their kid and not the team aspect of soccer.

So the reason why the NPL '06 tied (pretty sure,and did not beat) the DA '06 was because half the team was out playing Futsal somewhere (something they have been doing all winter) - and something which is really good for total team chemistry and development (sarcasm).
