Play Seacoast, Bolts, Empire and Beachside enough? HAHAHA ... what a freakin' joke! This is D?!?! Why would anyone skip HS for THAT?
Do you ever think of trying to see other people’s side of things? Have you ever looked at anyone else’s perspective? Maybe he doesn’t want to play HS, maybe his HS is not that good, maybe he’s been in the system for awhile and calls his teammates his friends, maybe he’s got a life and that he’s making decisions on his own-unlike you. Don’t be so egocentric. Make a valid point next time, especially when you’re so jazzed up about this topic.

have you ever gone watch a boys HS game? the quality of play is pretty bad, even with the best boys teams in CT. now go play the real bad teams in your respective league, and every league has them. is it a better game than a boys DA game? i dont think so.

Woah a lot of DA defenders here this morning. Sorry OW fans, now that MLS clubs are half way out the door you DA B teamers aren't much better than other good club options out there but without the restrictions. It may be the best option for some kids, but definitely not all.

If you look at the 2006 girls DA roster, how is it they only have 11 2006 girls in the program? Add the one on the 2005 roster, what does it say that they could only muster up 12 2006's "good" enough to play DA?

THey have a roster of players whose families can write checks. No one said anything about being good

it amazes me how many people are so worried about other kids. do you also hate the kids that go to private schools or prep schools that live in towns that have good school systems? get a life bro. back in the day parents only worried about their kid.

They do have a C team for that age group .... but funny how many of those 2006s are from other clubs (FSA, Sporting, CFC, and Ginga most notably).

More than half of 20 plus game schedule for u18/19 boys involves just these teams. Not what my kid signed up for. Beating up on Seacoast and Bolts over and over again.

Right, no rationalizing with crazy. But every club we have been at or played against has had their share of crazy parents while the sane ones shake their head in silence.

I am an OW parent and have been embarrassed many times by other parents at our club. But at the games their crazy equivalent is answering them back and as I look over to the sane parents at the other club, they are rolling their eyes at their own crazy parents behavior like our sane parents do at OW.

Crazy ass parents are at every club in CT, sorry but this is the truth. It is unfortunate because it only takes a few parents to make the whole club look bad.

That's my point. We can go on and on and bash clubs for this and that, but my question is more around how OW is going to continue to exist or compete, when literally they can't field enough on age girls at more than one level. 06 is light, 03 which is a prime recruiting age, super light, and 07 is light due the 06's needing the numbers.

Outside of the silly bashing; this is a legit question and has to be a concern.

OW boys aren’t beating up on anybody. Check the scores.

U15 - got hammered by both
U17 - got smacked around by both
U19 - manhandled by Bolts, beat Seacoast

Not off to a stellar start.

They'll just add players when HS is over. Mark my words. They're not the only club with light fall rosters either. many of the NY teams are very light as well. NE GDA is a joke.

OW doesn't live or die by the girls...thank god
