Originally posted by Unregistered View Postheard OW is trashing the boards and redoing the indoor fields this summer. If it's true it'll be interesting to see if teams go and play there in the winter, or if it continues to be leagues on life support.
go to cfc, fsa, tolland bubble, east windsor and watch an winter indoor game its like watching paint dry when bad teams (which are most of them) are playing. the ball goes out of bounds ever 5 seconds becasue of the level of play is so bad.
people dont like the boards at ow becasue they dont have the speed or technical skills to play there in the winter, thats why teams dont play there!
# save the boards at ow!!!!!

Play apples to apples and more teams would go there.

These are not professionals and even they take some down time.

It should be every once in a while not all the time. They all need a break during the winter season to rest up; heal; learn to miss the game again; have some down time so no overuse injuries for spring, etc. I see many kids that have overuse injuries in the spring because of the lack of rest from fall to winter to spring.
