Ow has always been than FSA at 01 and 02. Anyone in Hartford county knows that. Playing out with decent college placement too.

If being honest CFC has more talent at both ages. They pull from much more of the state and there are kids from up here that basically drive past Oakwood to play there

You might be right. But it doesn’t bode well for UConn.

OW will have plenty of girls going to UConn. Coaches daughter plays at Oakwood

If that’s true, the coach won’t be long for that job.

Thanks u14 Dad. Appreciate your loyalty as always. Oakwood just got embarrassed at the National event so I’m thinking the best means to ensure my job security is to load up on more Oakwood kids. No need to look nationally or even regionally. I’ll probably sign the entire u14 team as well.

you ever try talking to MC who is supposely the director of the girls gda program. the guy is like a hermit, as soon as he sees you coming he puts his head down a goes the other way. and if you do happen to grab him to talk he cant even look you in the eyes while he lies to you and tells you politely how great your daughter is just to keep you at the club.

Looked up a few players--players at Wake and Colgate got no time all season. Recognize them from my kid playing in FCIAC and I think I remember that they were recruited very early on. Not knocking on the kids as these are strong programs but can anyone speak to why they didn't play? If I remember correctly they were strong players.

Duh...because every other player is better!

Both players most likely red shirted to not lose a year of eligibility

Honest question as my kid is just starting the process. If you don't play freshman year, does that decrease chances of playing in future years?

You probably watch UConn hoops. Do all freshman recruits play a ton of time? Depends on the upperclassmen and what is going on positionally. if your kid is recruited as a center back and the team has two all conference seniors back there then she probably scraps for a few minutes during non conference games and then steps into a large role later on.

3 of those kids started premier at FSA and couldn't get out fast enough .... that is very funny.
