The juice is loose ,might be a juice fan lol. Love how people talk **** when they know nothing about the club. Sportings become a much better club than it has been with new leadership. I see it only getting stronger.

I agree. Sporting is light years ahead of vale. Just check the ccsl standings. Wow those sporting kids can play. And that leadership. Whooooaaaaa. Looookout. Love parking my white bronco in muddy parking lots, but the juice loves fields that are squishy.

      Squishy

Ow hosting gda tryouts in January? What happened, kids leaving? What kind of scraps are left at this point where they think they can make a gda team?

I'm late to the party here, been trolling the MA forums for fun.

So, Juice, like Gin and Juice, or like Dianabol, or like the ancient mythological footballer with a penchant for too small gloves and knives.

          Thanks,
          Participation medal guy.

They need the HS players back. Sucks for the kids that couldn't make varsity and went to Academy teams ...... They are about to lose a ton of PT for the spring.

Supposedly some of the weak NY clubs have been looking to add players also.

Such a key feature of GDA .... And it's optional. Nice.

Not only the obvious hypocrisy, but if you're a member of what is supposed to be the best league with the finest coaches you shouldn't be trolling for more players midseason. You should have rejected 75+ players at spring tryouts and beating away others with sticks all year

Several players have left due to lack of playing time. Who wants to travel all over the place to see little playing time? Unless you are a starter, the substitution rule will leave half the team warming the bench. No one wants to sacrifice giving up playing high school for that. Oakwood has one foot in the grave.

Funny enough this was cited as a major flaw two years ago.

While the Girl’s academy may not go away entirely, it’s dead here already. Once the juniors and seniors age out and attend the exact schools they would have Fromm the NPL squads, no one else is following that path. Too much sacrifice and not enough upside.

Oakwood is a nice little club. If local why not just play on their NPL team? Access to the facilities, a few good tournaments and none of the shenanigans

and if you're good enough, go ECNL where you get good college exposure without giving up HS. If NYCFC and NEFC were to drop out (granted, all rumors but some TS rumors wind up coming to fruition) then GDA will be officially dead in the NE.

These rumors are starting to look like more than just rumors now.

The players who left for FSA wouldn’t have made it on the CFC ECNL team... there was a reason they were bench warmers. Go get your college commitment over at FSA

This daddy-coaching club was circling the drain before GDA dumped on them. It's a shame, because the club really build a strong reputation 20 years ago.

Dude you really have a lot of angst with daddy coaches. What's the issue? Lots of good dad coaches out there
