Is FSA really $5k for ECNL and $4750 for NPL on the girls' side? Does that even include uniforms?

Oakwood high school aged academy teams play in the fall too!!!

Are you people morons! Oakwood is among the cheapest for what you get. Wake up!
Often 2 pools of players (each pool roughly 2 teams).

Their trips and hidden costs add up quickly and surpass even ecnl by a great deal, even with the greatly diminished up-front dues reduction!

Not with FSA, but no way they’re that high. Could someone from FSA provide a link to factual fees?

If anyone can do that, please send real pictures and movies of bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster as well.

Just a better environment than paying, what was it, $5k for FSA?

                      Fake news folks..
The # of tournaments and travel distance are the same except that ECNL plays 2 games every weekend so the away (not all, but most) weekends require hotel stays. "How" you travel can greatly influence the cost. ( bus? 5 star hotels?) On the other hand, ECNL doesn't have to sell raffle tickets, so that might be a draw for you West Hartford folk.
Any serious soccer/family should budget an extra $5k into their yearly budget on top of club fees.

Do a little research. It’s not too hard to track down...

Add in the coaches' travel expenses, summer camps (which are really expensive!), the 10-day trip to Belgium and 7 days in Seattle for training (slush fund for US Soccer), then flying trips to TX, NC, and/or CA ..... yeah, sure it's cheaper. They also like to "travel as a team" .... they pick the accommodations and flights that are convenient .... not reasonable usually. Listen, if you don't mind paying for it, fine, just don't try to hide the real cost of DA soccer .... it dwarfs everything else and it is certainly not $2700 or anything close to that at U14-U16).

You make it sound as if ECNL avoids those cost items... They don't. ECNL is more expensive, but you're right, only by $1k or so. The travel and expenses are well documented to be the biggest expenses in both leagues. But it's a waste of time to pick a club based on travel expenses, you do have at least some control over that..
