For the most part, Yankee or CFC gets BS's better girls by high school but there are a few good ones who stick around. Maybe not quite good enough for CFC, but good enough for Yankee. Merging with Beachside would help Yankee Girls get into Jefferson Cup and PDA because those events favor clubs that can bring both Boys and Girls teams. Girls or Boys only clubs have a real disadvantage. Win-win.

Why would Bsc d that when Yankee wins on that deal its obvious. YU has been wanting that for years YU knows CFC is out of their reach but the surrounding smaller clubs collapsing is beneficial to them in order to get and stay in the girls program in FCTY.
YU bashed Comets back in the day when they saw the threat looming and has been doing it to Bsc for years with only one success with a complete team from Bsc eloping, since then studded girls from Bsc want no part of YU mostly in part due to MM and his disconnect and prefer to drive further to CFC , even some studded girls of YU have eloped to CFC.

It shouldn't surprise anyone on here to know or link the new bashing with YU with one or two disgruntled Bsc parents.
Everyone knows YU has the most to loose with this building of Bsc soccer park along with CFC plans cornering YU..so I doubt highly YU will be able to hold much or exist once Bsc park is built , I mean YUs only field is STJ and they have no lights , imagine Bsc will be parked under their nose.
If my projection on Bsc is right I believe they are not trying too hard with the girls program right now it's just an up hill battle they won't win because they have nothing o attract but once that park is being built it'll be all hell and YU will be the looser.

There will never be a deal between BS and YU. Besides the obvious clash of the titans, all that would do is combine two weak programs into one. YU has its own issues to deal with, most importantly lousy team performance and no badge. BS can't get them that either. The BS park (if ever built) won't impact YU unless Bs can get it's act together on the girls side. That hasn't happened yet and plenty of BS players have gone to YU, not the other way around. Parents don't pick programs for facilities but coaching and program strength. YU's relationship with StJ is solid and shouldn't change any time soon. There's always other fields to rent. The only way I see it happening would be if WM decided to retire and sell. But with the new facility BS will have no Benjamins for a buyout.
