I don't think anyone else gets girls DA in CT. Oakwood has it. FSA and CFC don't want it (they have ECNL), and BS and yankee are not strong enough girls programs top to bottom. As the previous poster mentioned, they have a few strong teams, but not consistent through all ages.

I also do not ever see these combining. Way too much to lose for the owners of the clubs. They also will likely try to avoid one another for leagues. Just way too much to lose if beaten by their rival club. Can you imagine the threads that would start on this site from that?

I agree the personality clash of the titans will keep the two from ever merging, despite some on paper benefits. But as for GDA expanding? They will. They want ECNL out of business so the more flags planted in geographic territories the better. Based on some of the clubs they've let in so far quality doesn't seem to always be a priority. If BS gets a facility and a few more girls teams they could easily get a badge in a few years.
